Fairfild established in Milan in 1977 and it soon acquired a company operating in the field of resistors since 1954. During the 80's and the 90's the Company widened its offer both about the production range and the served fields. That was the time when it began appearing on the foreign markets too. From the year 2000 on, Fairfild obtained the ISO 9001:2000 certification on all its products and the UL certification on some of them. It then began running the path that will lead it to win important national tenders for the supply of neutral grounding resistors for the Enel MT nets and for train braking rheostats.

In the year 2006 the investment conveyed in research, development, staff and laboratory equipments has been over 10% of the revenue. Today Fairfild represents a reliable reference for the wire resistors production. It is moreover a technically and technologically skilled partner for the supply of train braking rheostats too. We have also developed special customized resistors for test-laboratories and Elettrogen units.
